The warm, gentle steam at 40ºC opens the hair shafts cuticles* , making it easier for nourishing ingredients to penetrate. The cold steam seals the treatment, leaving hair hydrated, soft and shiny.

HAIRMIST can be used both during hair washing and styling, and is an indispensable tool in any salon.
HAIRMIST uses distilled water so that limescale and impurities do not settle in the machine.

*Cuticles
The outermost layer of the hair, which consists of small, overlapping cells that act as a protective shield around the hair shaft.

The cuticles play an important role in hair health because they:
✔ Protects hair from damage from heat, chemicals and environmental influences.
✔ Regulates moisture balance so hair does not dry out or become too porous.
✔ Gives shine when intact and closed – if damaged, hair looks dull and rough.

When you use heat (like steam), the cuticles open, making it easier for treatments like hair treatments or color to penetrate deep into the hair. Cold steam or conditioner helps close the cuticles again, leaving the hair smooth and protected.
